Power Camp
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Who should apply?
Please consider the following before submitting a Volunteer application:
- Do you believe in the mission of FCA to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church?
- Are you in a growing personal relationship with Jesus?
- Are you in a growing relationship with other followers of Jesus ('the Church')?
- Do you enjoy working with young athletes to help them improve in sport and in life?
- Specific to Huddle Leaders: are you a student entering 9th-12th grade or a college student who feels called by God to lead young athletes in Biblical truth? Have you attended/completed E3 training and/or attended Leadership Camp (March)?
If you say “YES” to the above questions, then we invite you to apply to be a Power Camp Volunteer. Please complete the following steps:
STEP 1
ALL volunteers must apply ANNUALLY, even if you were a volunteer last year.
From the "Apply Now" button below, Huddle Leader applicants should complete a Huddle Leader Application and all other volunteer applicants should complete a Camp Staff Application.
STEP 2
Beginning September 2025, ALL volunteers (13+) will need to be registered in the VIP portal.
- We are committed to keeping our children and participants safe. The new volunteer management system will require background checks (18+ only) at least every two years, or more frequently if required by law, along with references and staff interaction before serving. Students ages 13-17 will complete a student specific process.
- Volunteer ministry leaders will be required to review and indicate their agreement with FCA's Christian Community Statement.
- Clearer expectations and volunteer support through defined roles, both ministry leading and non-ministry leading (i..e. kitchen, facilities, transportation) with structured training to boost volunteer accountability and effectiveness.
All volunteers will receive an invitation link to apply for a specific role at camp.
STEP 3
All volunteers must sign up for a 2-hour training date.
*Note: Huddle Leader applicants can also expect to have a 30 minute phone interview scheduled at a separate time, prior to their training date.
